Our barrel heads are purchased from distilleries in our home state of Kentucky. The custom wording on our barrel heads are deeply carved into the white oak using a CNC router. No cheap vinyl decals or wood burning lasers in our shop!

Every barrel head is distinct in its own way so yours will be like no other. Some heads have markings, stamps, wax and more. Other barrel heads you may find online are super sanded and planed down so far that all the markings, dents, dings, colors and more are so sadly removed. Since our shop, Crosswired Creations is located in the Bourbon Capital of the World, we get our barrel heads straight from the KY distilleries and make them right here in Bowling Green, Kentucky!
